“Fab Four for Friday” Winter Weekend Round-up: Links I Love

Tea cocoa and cashmere 2 There’s been quite a bit of frigid weather here in Texas–particularly frigid for Texas–as of late with temps in the 30s, ice, and snow all making far too frequent appearances (and, right on cue, the snow flurries began to start literally as I am typing this).

As a person who is already very cold-natured, any temps below 50 degrees just makes me want to swaddle myself in blankets; drink mugs and mugs of salted caramel hot chocolate or chai tea (with a healthy splash of rum or whiskey, of course); stockpile my favorite print and virtual reading materials; plant myself in my favorite nook of the couch; and then stay there until spring comes.

Okay, so I can’t bask in my special kind of hibernation all the way until March 20th, but I can at least do it for the weekend. So, I’ve gathered all of my necessary cold weather provisions ( tea and hot chocolate; cashmere blanket; wine; a pair of my hubby’s colorful socks for my constantly cold feet; magazines; bookmarks of online articles I want to read) and I am hunkering down for the next couple of days.
