Bubbly Sip or Bubbly Skip! Drink it or Rethink it Sip or Skip Fizz It or Forget It

Well hello, lovers of the bubble–Happy Fizzy Friday!

Today I’m introducing my new blog series called “Sip It or Skip It!” where I review champagne and sparkling wine finds to give you an idea on whether you should try it and buy it. I’ll put my *ahem* “research and development” skills to work for you to make it easier to decide what should–and shouldn’t go on your champagne shopping list.

If you’ve been already hanging around the site or following me on Instagram for a while, you know that I’ve always done champagne and sparkling wine reviews {like here, here, and here}. Doing this new series allows me to restructure my reviews in a bit more formalized way and to brand and tag them making them easier to find.

So now if you find yourself in the wine aisle and needing some advice on what to pick up, all you have to do is either Google “Sip it or Skip it,” or search the hashtag #SipItOrSkipIt on Instagram.

With just a few keystrokes it will be like you’re able to summon me to be there with you, like your own personal, magical champagne genie. {wink}

Cantina della Volta Lambrusco di Modena Spumante Rose

After years of being used to make low quality, sweet, cheap fizzy wine, the poor little Italian Lambrusco grapes have garnered a pretty bad reputation. So you can imagine my utter surprise when one of the professionals at one of my faves places to sip wine actually suggested I try one.

“I know, but you’ve got to try it. This one definitely doesn’t taste like what you think when you hear ‘Lambrusco.’ It’s so good!” She then brought me a taste of the Cantina della Volta and I was instantly smitten with amore.
